Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Winery & Design Hotel ROXANICH, nestled in the heart of Istria, is lauded for its prime location and exceptional panoramic views. Perched on a hill, the hotel offers breathtaking vistas of the valley below, creating a fairy tale-like atmosphere. Its strategic position makes it an ideal base for exploring nearby destinations, including Motovun. The proximity to city attractions and picturesque setting offers both relaxation and adventure for guests.
The breakfast at ROXANICH receives positive reviews with guests praising the extensive and rich buffet that features regional options and high-quality local products. The option to enjoy breakfast on the terrace, accompanied by great design and views, enhances the dining experience. Despite some feedback about the simplicity and temperature of hot dishes, the overall sentiment is one of satisfaction.
Dinner experiences at the hotel are highly praised for both exceptional food and service. Guests appreciate the tasty à la carte dishes and the fantastic wines from the hotel's own winery. Dining on the terrace with views of the countryside further enriches the experience. A minor note about the lack of bubble wrap in the hotel store does not detract from the stellar dining reviews.
The rooms at ROXANICH are highlighted for their unique and fantastic design, spaciousness and cleanliness. Guests enjoy the comfortable beds and modern decor, despite a few concerns about practicality and temperature control. The quirky and colorful furnishings add to the overall aesthetic with some considering them over the top but others finding them charming. The serene and picturesque ambiance of the rooms, coupled with stunning views, ensures a pleasant stay.
Cleanliness at the hotel is highly commendable with many guests describing it as perfectly clean. Both the rooms and bathrooms are noted for their top-notch cleanliness and spaciousness. The pool area maintains a clean appearance and any minor issues noted are overshadowed by the general impression of a well-maintained hotel.
The staff at ROXANICH are consistently praised for their friendliness and professionalism. Reviews highlight their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond, contributing significantly to the positive guest experience.
The outdoor infinity pool at the hotel offers stunning views, complementing the hotel's magnificent setting. Guests frequently rave about the breathtaking vistas and the enjoyable pool area, despite occasional mentions of the pool being cold. Additional amenities like the sauna and steam room receive high praise as well.
Parking facilities receive predominantly positive feedback with a sizeable underground garage and free charging station for electric cars adding convenience. Some guests mention an extra charge for parking, but the availability of ample space and assistance in parking enhances the experience.
Overall, Winery & Design Hotel ROXANICH combines a prime location, exceptional views and high-quality service to create a memorable stay for its guests.
