Turis Hotel Centro enjoys a prime central location in Campo Grande, providing guests with easy access to downtown, main avenues and the airport. Its proximity to key attractions and amenities makes it a convenient choice for travelers. Despite some safety concerns in the surrounding area, especially at night, the hotel offers value for money and practical parking options.
Guests generally praise the breakfast experience with descriptions such as "delicious" and "wonderful" indicating satisfaction with the variety and quality of the offerings. The breakfast starts early, catering well to early risers and includes regional items and a good selection of fruits, although some guests see room for improvement in terms of variety and freshness.
Room reviews reveal a mix of experiences. Guests appreciate the spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds and good organization. However, issues such as tight spaces, noise, poor ventilation and maintenance problems like outdated furnishings and faulty air conditioning are noted. The lack of certain amenities also detracts from the overall comfort.
Cleanliness across the hotel is a strong point with many guests commending the diligent housekeeping staff and the hotel's clean and organized atmosphere. Some isolated complaints about occasional lapses in cleaning and strong smells of cleaning products do exist, but overall, the hotel's cleanliness meets or exceeds guest expectations.
The staff at Turis Hotel Centro are frequently described as polite, attentive and welcoming, enhancing the guest experience significantly. Though some reviews mention occasional unhelpful interactions, the positive feedback about the staff's friendliness, efficiency and professionalism is predominant.
The WiFi experience is hit-or-miss with some guests praising the internet speed and security, while others report weak and unstable signals, particularly in certain areas of the hotel. Efforts to improve the connectivity could enhance guest satisfaction.
For families, the hotel offers a suitable environment with rooms accommodating four people, a kitchen for meal preparation and children's TV channels. However, the absence of amenities like cribs and adequate towels is a noted drawback.
The beds are generally applauded for their comfort and size with many guests enjoying large, king-sized beds and quality bedding. Nonetheless, issues with bed cleanliness and mattress condition do arise, affecting some guests' sleep quality.
Accessibility is another positive aspect with convenient parking and easy access by car. Although the lack of an elevator from the parking area to room floors and the absence of phones in rooms are noted, the overall accessibility is favorably highlighted.
In summary, Turis Hotel Centro offers a centrally located, clean and family-friendly option with commendable breakfast and staff service. While there are areas for improvement, particularly with room maintenance and WiFi reliability, the overall guest experience is positive, making it a viable choice for both short-term stays and city explorations.
