Surrounded by spectacular views, guests enjoy its proximity to the Basilica, walking trails and local gastronomy, making it a prime spot for nature lovers and explorers. The serene environment offers a peaceful retreat and exceptional day walks and hikes with many highlighting the magnificent vistas contributing to an uplifting atmosphere.
The apartments, while described as Spartan, offer clean and functional accommodations, ideal for a comfortable stay. They are equipped with basic amenities and are well-maintained. However, guests should be mindful of potential issues with heating, small bathrooms and the need for personal groceries, as the on-site convenience store is not particularly practical. Despite these minor inconveniences, the apartments provide a solid base for those visiting the area.
Cleanliness is another strong point of Apartamentos Montserrat Abat Marcet with numerous reviews commending the well-kept and spacious rooms. Although some occasional issues are noted, such as unpleasant smells from bathroom pipes or minor refurbishments needed, the overall impression remains positive, further reinforcing the apartments' reputation for cleanliness and comfort.
The exceptional staff service significantly enhances the guest experience. The reception team, especially Vincento, is frequently mentioned for their friendliness, helpfulness and attentiveness. Their willingness to assist with various tasks, including parking and general inquiries, is highly appreciated and their excellent English skills ensure effective communication.
Opinions on the beds at Apartamentos Montserrat Abat Marcet are mixed. While many guests find them comfortable, others report issues with narrow, lumpy beds and basic spring mattresses, indicating that experiences may vary based on individual rooms or personal preferences. Despite this, some guests do report sleeping well.
