Bio- und Gesundheitshotel Gutshaus Stellshagen is a highly regarded destination for those seeking a tranquil and nature-immersed retreat. Its serene, park-like grounds, nestled amid fields, forests and meadows, create a rustic charm that is both peaceful and rejuvenating. The large, beautifully landscaped surroundings contribute to its small-village ambiance, making it an ideal location for nature enthusiasts and guests seeking a quiet escape with the Baltic Sea coast conveniently nearby.
The dining experience is highly praised, especially the breakfast. Guests appreciate the rich and varied breakfast buffet, which caters significantly to vegetarian and vegan diets. The homemade breads and attention to dietary restrictions enhance the meal's overall enjoyment. Similarly, dinner receives commendations for its delicious and diverse vegetarian options, although some guests find the value for money questionable and non-vegetarians may feel less satisfied.
Guests generally find the rooms spacious, cozy and clean with comfortable furnishings. The conservatory is particularly noted for its pleasant atmosphere. However, some areas show signs of aging and cleanliness standards, while generally sufficient, could benefit from more consistent attention to detail.
Staff interactions reveal a mixed experience. The restaurant staff receives praise for their friendliness and attentiveness. However, the reception staff occasionally falls short in terms of warmth and responsiveness. Despite this, the overall service maintains a level of professionalism.
The spa features a well-equipped wellness area with a sauna and a bathing pond. Guests appreciate the relaxing atmosphere and range of wellness services, though some note the prices can be high. The natural swimming pond is a beloved feature, noted for its serene and eco-friendly design, adding to the hotel's tranquility.
The beds receive mixed reviews. While many find them comfortable and conducive to a good night's sleep, others report issues with sagging, firmness and pillow quality. Nonetheless, the majority find the accommodations satisfactory.
Overall, Bio- und Gesundheitshotel Gutshaus Stellshagen offers a relaxing, nature-immersed retreat with highly praised vegetarian and vegan dining options and commendable spa services, albeit with minor areas for improvement regarding room upgrades and staff consistency.

Travelling with kids can sometimes be a challenge, but Seehotel Grossherzog von Mecklenburg makes it easy by being extremely kid-friendly. From a welcoming game for the little ones, to a jumping castle in the garden, there are plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. The breakfast buffet has an array of healthy options, which even delighted the 8-year-old grandchild. The hotel also has a dedicated playroom and a spacious family room with two bathrooms. Plus, the perfect beach location and the friendly staff make it a great place for families to enjoy their stay. However, some guests found their rooms to be a bit small and stuffy, so it might be a good idea to confirm the room size when making reservations.

If you're planning a family vacation, Schlossgut Gross Schwansee might be just the place for you. The hotel staff is very kind and welcoming to families with young children and they provide great solutions for families. The hotel is especially great for kids - it's very child-friendly and the staff goes out of their way to make sure children feel comfortable and entertained. However, if you're a couple looking for a quiet getaway, you might want to avoid this hotel due to the presence of families and party guests. While the hotel is welcoming to dogs as well, some guests found the numerous dogs on the premises to be a bit of a nuisance. While the hotel is very accommodating, there are a few downsides - the natural pond on the property isn't as well-maintained as it could be and there may be times when the hotel is unavailable for private events due to conferences or other gatherings. Lastly, while the hotel has plenty of options for families, guests looking for activities specifically geared towards kids may find the selection a bit limited.
