Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Boho, Vagator Beach Goa Near Thalassa, boasts a favorable location in North Goa, lauded for its proximity to prominent party hotspots such as Vagator and Anjuna and easy access to various key areas and essential services. The serene, strategically placed hotel offers an excellent base for exploring the region, although some guests found it slightly remote from central attractions like Tito's Lane and Baga Beach.
Breakfast at The Boho is largely appreciated, particularly when enjoyed in the garden. Guests commend the delicious ala carte options, though they wish for more variety and a buffet option. Some noted the high cost and slow room service but enjoyed the overall breakfast experience due to the serene garden setting.
Dining at the hotel receives high praise with many guests raving about the tasty, well-prepared dishes and the good value for money. The pleasant ambiance with poolside music enhances the dining experience, despite occasional delays and some dishes being spicier than requested.
The rooms are generally considered spacious and comfortable, featuring Bohemian-themed interiors. Guests enjoy amenities like big beds and balconies, contributing to a cozy atmosphere. However, there are notable issues with cleanliness, such as reports of cockroaches, unpleasant odors and subpar cleaning standards, which contrast with the otherwise positive reception of the room environments.
Cleanliness at The Boho varies significantly. While some guests appreciate the clean pool, neat rooms and well-maintained property, others report severe cleanliness issues, including dirty conditions, stained bedding and infrequent room cleaning. The inconsistency in hygiene standards results in a mixed overall impression.
The staff at The Boho earn predominantly positive reviews for their friendliness and professionalism. Guests frequently praise specific staff members for their exceptional service, fostering a welcoming and pleasant environment. While there are occasional reports of rudeness and lack of training, particularly concerning the night receptionist, the overall perception is one of a dedicated and courteous team.
The pool at The Boho is a standout feature, appreciated for its cleanliness, maintenance and vibrant, relaxing atmosphere. Families and guests enjoy the well-maintained pool area and the superb adjoining garden. Despite occasional mentions of the pool not being operational, the feedback is overwhelmingly positive.
Beds at The Boho receive favorable remarks for their comfort and size, contributing to a restful stay. While there are minor concerns about the tidiness of the linens, the general sentiment towards the beds is positive, enhancing the overall guest experience.
