Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
La Quinta by Wyndham Sevierville / Kodak is highly praised for its prime location, which provides a tranquil retreat while being conveniently close to major attractions like Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Guests enjoy easy access to highways, shopping areas and restaurants, all while avoiding the congestion of busier tourist regions. The hotel's pet-friendly policy is a notable plus, accommodating both families and their furry companions.
Breakfast offerings at the hotel receive mixed reviews, though many guests appreciate the quality and variety of food, especially the make-your-own waffles and well-stocked items. There is room for improvement in diversifying the options and ensuring consistent replenishment during busy times.
The rooms are often described as clean, spacious and comfortable with guests particularly noting the convenience of pet-friendly accommodations and amenities like microwaves and mini-fridges. However, some rooms require maintenance and better housekeeping services to address issues like outdated furniture and cleanliness concerns.
The staff is frequently highlighted for their exceptional friendliness and helpfulness, particularly front desk personnel who ensure efficient and personable service. The hotel's staff contributes significantly to creating a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the overall stay experience.
WiFi service is generally reliable and fast, though some guests encountered connectivity issues in specific areas. The pools receive a range of feedback with the indoor heated pool being popular for its cleanliness and warmth, while both indoor and outdoor pools occasionally face maintenance and overcrowding issues.
Parking is convenient with ample space, although there are occasional remarks about the need for maintenance and crowded conditions.
Family travelers find the hotel accommodating, especially appreciating the kid-friendly pools and large, accessible rooms. The pet-friendly policy further enhances its appeal for families. Beds are generally considered comfortable, though a few guests had issues with firmness and maintenance of the mattresses.
The hotel, while an older property in need of some updates, provides clean, safe and affordable accommodations suitable for budget-conscious travelers. Business travelers find adequate facilities, a helpful staff and a good balance of price and value for work trips.
Overall, La Quinta by Wyndham Sevierville / Kodak offers a satisfying stay with commendable staff service, a convenient location, comfortable rooms and pet-friendly amenities, despite some areas needing improvement.
