Chalet-Hôtel Les Rhodos is an idyllic mountain retreat in a tranquil town, offering magnificent views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding valley. The chalet's prime location between Chamonix and Annecy provides an excellent base for exploring the broader region with convenient access to ski lifts and major winter resorts. The peaceful ambiance, coupled with cozy accommodations, makes it perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
The breakfast at Chalet-Hôtel Les Rhodos is highly praised for its variety and quality, featuring homemade products and regional jams. Guests appreciate the abundant and delightful options, despite some comments about the cost and daily sign-up requirement. The dining experience continues to impress with dinners described as superb, tasty and incorporating local specialties like raclette and fondue. Generous portions and good quality meals, often paired with inexpensive wine, add to the charm, though a few guests noted a lack of variety.
Rooms at the chalet are consistently lauded for their cleanliness, comfort and charming decor. Many provide breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and the suite options ensure a high level of comfort with spacious, tastefully arranged interiors. The common areas, including a cozy fireplace, further enhance the welcoming atmosphere. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness contribute significantly to the overall experience, making guests feel right at home with their exceptional hospitality.
Chalet-Hôtel Les Rhodos maintains high standards of cleanliness with spotless rooms and well-maintained facilities frequently highlighted in reviews. Despite occasional remarks about minor issues like tiling and carpeting, the overall commitment to cleanliness is evident.
The WiFi at the chalet receives mixed reviews with strong connections in the restaurant and lobby but weaker signals in guest rooms, particularly on the second floor. However, this does not overshadow the positive aspects of the stay.
The small but well-maintained pool is a pleasant feature, especially enjoyed during the summer. Families find the chalet particularly appealing with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, comfortable suites for groups and the added benefit of being pet-friendly. Children enjoy the pool and the stunning views from family rooms add to the overall charm.
Comfortable beds are another highlight, contributing to restful nights, though there are occasional remarks about mattress firmness and specific bed configurations.
Overall, Chalet-Hôtel Les Rhodos stands out for its serene location, remarkable dining, cozy rooms, cleanliness and exceptional hospitality, making it a memorable choice for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure.
