However, some guests expressed concerns about the parking situation with limited spaces available on site and some guests being forced to park off-site. Some guests also reported problems with the parking arrangements with cars often blocking each other in. Some guests had to pay for parking, either at a separate private car park owned by the hotel or at nearby public parking on the Esplanade. The hotel could do with modernisation and some guests would have preferred a B&B option rather than half board. Some guests also expressed frustration at being charged extra for parking upon arrival. However, the hotel was helpful with disabled parking and managed to oversee the parking bays well.
