Guests love the dispersed location that blends perfectly with the neighborhood. The hotel design is also impressive with Mexican styles in the rooms. The ambiance of Santa Barbara is felt throughout the hotel, making it a must-stop place. Whether you're interested in the beach, the Funk Zone or capturing the essence of Santa Barbara, the location of Hotel Californian could not be any better.

Rooms

If you’re looking for a luxurious stay, Hotel Californian is definitely the place for you. The beautiful, spacious and well-decorated rooms are clean and very comfortable, making it easy for guests to relax and unwind. The Cordova King room is especially awesome, providing guests an experience to remember. The staff, buildings & overall quality of the hotel exceeded our expectations! The rooms showcase wonderful design and are sufficiently spacious. The view from the ocean-facing suites is absolutely breathtaking and worth the splurge. Hotel Californian is a beautiful establishment, which is well-maintained and has lovely large rooms. The comfort of the bed and linens is top-notch. However, some guests complained about a few inaccuracies on third party booking websites in regards to rooms with balconies or other amenities. Overall, the quality of the room, staff, building and location at Hotel Californian is exceptional and definitely worth your holiday stay.
