At Gulf Court Hotel, guest opinions on the pool are varied with a blend of positive and negative feedback. Many visitors found the pool to be good with some describing it as decent or clean. The rooftop pool, in particular, was highlighted as beautiful and relaxing and some visitors loved the pool area for offering a pleasant experience.
However, several reviews pointed out concerns about the pool's cleanliness and maintenance. Multiple guests mentioned the need for better care, cleaning and heating options. There were also comments about the pool water being cold and the absence of a lifeguard, which compromised the overall experience for some guests. Additionally, some reviews noted that the pool was only suitable for adults due to the lack of a designated children's pool.
Issues such as neglected pool facilities, limited cleaning and occasional insect presence were noted, all indicating that greater attention to pool upkeep is needed. Despite these drawbacks, the pool remains a highlight for some visitors with its location on the tenth floor adding to its appeal. Overall, while there are areas that require improvement, the pool at Gulf Court Hotel has its moments of praise and enjoyment.

The pool at Asdal Gulf Inn Boutique Hotel in Seef has garnered mixed reviews from guests. While some appreciated the neatness and the rooftop location, many have pointed out several areas needing improvement. The pool is frequently described as small and difficult to access with some guests mentioning the lack of basic amenities such as towels and water. Cleanliness appears to be an issue with multiple reviews indicating that the pool was dirty and unmaintained, particularly noting the non-functional shower faucet and pool filters. Safety also seems to be a concern, as there is no life guard present. The surrounding area, although amazing for its outdoor setting, would benefit from being covered. Despite these criticisms, there are positive mentions of an attached children's corner and a delightful steak restaurant, which somewhat enhance the overall experience.

Notably, there are positive remarks about the pool's clean and chlorine-free state, presenting a pleasant experience for swimmers. The pool area garners praise for its attractive rooftop setting.
However, there are several concerns voiced by guests that should be noted. A frequent point of feedback is the small size of the pool, which some find to be inadequate for the number of guests. Additionally, the pool's cold temperature is a common complaint, as it lacks heating, making it less inviting in cooler weather. Access to the pool can be challenging, requiring an elevator ride to the top floor followed by a staircase climb.
Guests have also observed that the pool area could benefit from better maintenance and cleanliness with reports of dirty water and neglected surroundings. There are mentions of the pool being closed early or not open due to maintenance issues. Issues with safety precautions and the lack of a lifeguard have raised concerns among some guests. Despite these drawbacks, the pool remains a feature that appeals to guests looking for a refreshing spot on the hotel’s rooftop.

At the Ibis Seef Manama, guests have expressed mixed feelings about the hotel's pool area. While some patrons find the pool to be lovely and clean, others describe it as extremely small and somewhat disappointing. The pool is described more as a symbolic place to dip your toes rather than a substantial swimming area, with its size accommodating only a handful of people comfortably. The depth of the pool, being one and seventy meters, also raises concerns about suitability for children.
Several guests have commented on the limited operational hours, as the pool closes early at 6 pm and opens late, which restricts access for those hoping to enjoy a leisurely swim throughout the day. Additionally, there is a lack of supervision and amenities, with no staff on hand for drinks or towels, and the restroom in the pool area is noted to be poorly serviced.
Despite these drawbacks, access to the pool is easy, and the location and cleanliness of the hotel overall are praised. However, potential visitors should be aware of the high chlorine levels, which have caused discomfort to some guests, and the absence of alcohol service at the poolside. The pool experience at Ibis Seef Manama seems to be better suited to short visits rather than long, relaxing swimming sessions.

The rooftop swimming pool at the Tulip Hotel & Suites has drawn a range of reactions from guests. On the plus side, some visitors have praised the pool for being well-maintained and clean, highlighting it as beautiful and bigger than it appears in the pictures. However, there are several significant downsides. Numerous reviews have pointed out issues with cleanliness and maintenance, noting that the pool has broken tiles, chips and a generally dirty condition. Some guests also mentioned the absence of essential amenities like drying towels and a bathroom extractor fan. The pool's cold and deep nature makes it unsuitable for children and there's no designated children's pool or lifeguard on duty. The hotel staff also reportedly failed to inform guests about the pool or other entertainment options. The overall verdict on the pool is mixed with several areas needing urgent attention to ensure a better experience for future guests.

The pool at S Hotel Bahrain appears to be consistently described as small, which may not meet the expectations of guests, especially given the hotel's size. Furthermore, the pool's cleanliness is frequently mentioned as needing attention, with reports of murky water and dirt. The opening hours, limited to 9 AM to 6 PM, seem to be inconvenient for many guests, as it closes early, restricting evening use. Additionally, there are no games for children, possibly making the pool area less family-friendly. Some visitors have also noticed that the showers at the pool are cold, adding to the list of improvements needed. Overall, while the pool is appreciated by some, it generally seems to fall short of providing an inviting experience for guests, suggesting an opportunity for better maintenance and extended hours.
