The Westin Tampa Bay provides easy access to some beautiful beaches perfect for soaking up the Florida sun with several options close by. Guests loved the private beach with its clean surroundings and were also pleased with the small but nice public beach just a few stairs away from the hotel. There were some complaints about the 'beach'-like area near the boat rental place, which was not a true sandy beach and could be dirty at times. However, the majority of guests enjoyed the outdoor spaces on the water, complete with oceanfront views and wanted more comfortable chairs and umbrellas to be added. The private beach access and pool were definitely guest favorites and the laid-back feeling of the beach was much appreciated. However, some guests did find the hotel's private beach amenities expensive and wished for more inclusive services. Regardless, the beach was unequivocally stunning and the facilities and location made for a truly beautiful beach vacation.
