Hotel Schloss Ragaz offers a charming, albeit compact, wellness experience that has largely won the approval of its guests. The spa, described as a small wellness oasis, provides a serene retreat perfect for evening relaxation. Its facilities include various types of saunas, whirlpools, an indoor pool and even an outdoor swimming pool. Guests particularly commend the cleanliness and upkeep of the wellness area, making for a pleasant and enjoyable spa environment. The availability of spa treatments and massages, delivered by highly skilled professionals, further enhances the guests’ experience.
The hotel also provides some unique amenities, such as a log cabin sauna and foot baths, free of charge with only selective treatments and the use of the Jacuzzi incurring a fee. While most reviews highlight the spa's well-maintained and inviting atmosphere, a few guests have noted that certain aspects, such as the wellness sports area, could benefit from modernization. There's also a mention of the spa pavilion being somewhat inconveniently located far from the main castle during inclement weather.
On the downside, the closure of the nearby Tamina spa until October has been a disappointment for some guests looking forward to visiting. Additionally, a few issues, such as non-functioning whirlpools and steam baths, have been pointed out. Despite these setbacks, the overall sentiment towards the spa at Hotel Schloss Ragaz remains highly positive, characterized by its peaceful ambiance and excellent facilities that provide a restful and rejuvenating experience.

Hotel Cristal Flumserberg boasts a wellness area that has garnered significant praise from its guests. The spa, though described as small, has consistently exceeded expectations, offering a serene oasis for relaxation. The sauna area is particularly highlighted with guests noting that it is superb and equipped with all necessary facilities, including a steam-sauna and a relaxation room. Despite its compact size, the wellness area is well-attended and provides a pleasant experience for short stays.
However, there are a few points to consider. The wellness area incurs an additional cost of 15 CHF per person, which some guests found to be a slight inconvenience. Additionally, the sauna is not operational during the summer months and there have been suggestions for the inclusion of a jacuzzi to enhance the experience further. A minor update to the wellness area could also improve its appeal. Overall, the spa and sauna facilities at Hotel Cristal Flumserberg offer a delightful retreat that has left many guests pleasantly surprised.
