Hyatt Centric Downtown St. Louis boasts a stunning rooftop pool, offering guests beautiful and unique downtown views from the rooftop bar. Despite some setbacks with the bar being closed early on certain days, the rooftop pool remained open and provided a beautiful setting for guests to relax and unwind. However, some guests felt that the pool water could have been heated better, while others found it too cold even on hot days. Despite these minor issues, guests were impressed with the rooftop pool's beauty and the hotel's central location near the city museum. So much so that one guest decided to extend their stay just to experience the pool for themselves. Unfortunately, due to a storm, the rooftop pool and bar were closed on occasion, but when open, they were a highlight of guests' stays at Hyatt Centric Downtown St. Louis.

The Pear Tree Inn St Louis Convention Center offers an indoor pool experience that has been both a delight and a mixed bag for guests. Many visitors have appreciated the convenience of having the pool located indoors, making it easily accessible, and it's been a hit with children who enjoyed splashing around. Despite its small size, the pool provided enough entertainment to keep the little ones engaged and some guests found it a great addition for a quick stay, enhancing their visit with a refreshing dip. The presence of a hot tub was also highly regarded, offering moments of relaxation after a long day exploring or attending events.
However, feedback suggests that the pool area has room for improvement. Several guests mentioned its small size, likening it to a kiddie pool, which might not be ideal for serious swimmers or those looking for more spacious aquatic leisure. While some found it refreshing, others noted that the water was notably cold, limiting the time they could comfortably spend there. Cleanliness concerns were raised, with a few guests noting murkiness, excessive chlorine levels, and occasional maintenance closures. The pool's location right beside the dining area was seen as unconventional, though it did provide easy access for some families. Overall, while the pool facilities at Pear Tree Inn cater well to families with young children, those expecting larger or warmer waters may need to adjust their expectations.
