PLAZA INN Bad Rappenau stands out positively among guests for its strategic location near the autobahn, making it an ideal pit stop for travelers on long journeys. Nestled conveniently by the A6, it provides seamless access to various destinations, including a Technology Museum nearby. Despite its placement in an industrial area, the hotel's modern and clean rooms ensure a quiet and restful environment. The proximity to essential services such as a gas station, rest area and 24-hour travel center further adds to its convenience, especially for those with electric cars.
Guests frequently commend the breakfast for its variety and quality, highlighting the fresh waffles and plentiful options catering to different dietary preferences, including gluten-free and vegan choices. Although the breakfast is served at a restaurant across the street, the quality of the offerings and friendly service typically outweigh any inconvenience. Dinner receives generally positive feedback with good food options available at the restaurant nearby, though some note occasional unfriendly service.
The hotel's rooms are widely appreciated for their modernity and cleanliness with additional amenities such as balconies, free mineral water and coffee/tea facilities enhancing the comfort. Soundproofing is effective, ensuring a peaceful ambiance and the comfortable beds contribute to a good night's sleep. The cleanliness extends to both the individual rooms and communal areas with staff praised for their friendliness and efficiency.
Staff at the hotel are consistently lauded for their friendliness, helpfulness and efficiency. They ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process with particular appreciation for the positive and accommodating service at breakfast. However, the hotel's Wi-Fi has faced significant criticism for its unreliability and connectivity issues, particularly with certain devices.
Ample and free parking adds significant value to the stay with a large parking lot accommodating various vehicle sizes, including trucks. This convenience is especially noted given the proximity to the highway and service areas.
For families, the hotel offers spacious rooms suitable for family stays, although improvements could be made regarding children's entertainment and breakfast service. The beds receive general praise for comfort, though some reviews indicate issues with firmness and wear, particularly in triple rooms.
The hotel is also suitable for business travelers, offering a convenient location and efficient check-in process. Accommodations, while sufficient, meet the essential needs of business guests, making it a practical choice for those on work trips.
In summary, PLAZA INN Bad Rappenau provides a strategic location, modern and clean accommodations, friendly staff and a varied breakfast, making it a reliable and convenient choice for travelers and business guests alike.
