The PARKROYAL Monash Melbourne hotel boasts a fabulous pool but unfortunately, it is shared with residents of a joint apartment complex. Although it is a small area and overlooked by hundreds of units, the kids loved it. The pool can be accessed through the retail shops and there is also a large gym located in the shopping complex below for those who want to keep fit. However, it is worth noting that the pool is outside, which may make it unusable during winter months or cold days. Some guests were disappointed as the heater was not working, but generally, the pool receives positive reviews. The only downside is that getting to the pool can sometimes feel like a maze. It is also worth noting that there is no mention of lunch being served poolside.

The Greensborough Motel is strategically located, making it an attractive option for travelers with various needs, including business and personal visits. Its proximity to essential facilities like hospitals and shops, as well as the Simpson Barracks, adds to its appeal. Guests appreciate the quiet, peaceful surroundings and straightforward access via major roads, although some note navigation challenges. Free parking availability enhances its convenience further, solidifying its position as a practical choice for those seeking accessible yet tranquil accommodations.
When it comes to breakfast, guest experiences vary. While some appreciated the ability to prepare their own meals and found the breakfast offerings reasonably priced and delicious, clearer communication about breakfast inclusions could improve satisfaction.
Room experiences also vary, with some guests enjoying spacious and comfortable accommodations. Recent bathroom renovations have been welcomed, and many find the beds satisfactory. However, issues with maintenance and cleanliness are noted, with some rooms not meeting expectations of cleanliness or upkeep. Guests recognize the friendly and accommodating reception staff, who contribute positively to the overall experience, though improvements in room and facility maintenance are suggested to enhance guest satisfaction.
The motel's staff consistently receive praise for their helpfulness and friendliness, often going above and beyond to cater to guests' needs, even in challenging situations. Staff like Li Li are noted for exceptional service and care, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
Free WiFi is advertised but presents connectivity challenges, with many guests experiencing difficulties in securing a stable connection despite multiple networks. This indicates a need for improvement to meet guests' internet requirements.
Parking at the motel is appreciated for being free, offering substantial convenience. However, the layout can be cramped, causing difficulty in navigation for some guests. Despite this, the free parking remains a notable benefit amidst guests’ overall experiences.
While the Greensborough Motel offers a basic and economical choice for short stays, with guests highlighting the friendly staff and convenient location, aspects such as room maintenance and facility cleanliness require attention to achieve a consistent level of guest satisfaction. The motel serves as a straightforward option, providing essential amenities, though the overall impression is that improvements are needed to enhance the overall guest experience.
