Calimera Hane Garden Hotel enjoys a highly favorable location, just a short 5-7 minute walk from a beautiful, clean beach with clear waters and free sunbeds. The proximity to various shopping options, bazaars and local attractions like Side and Manavgat, easily reachable by bus, adds to its appeal. Guests can enjoy a beach bar even during the offseason, which further enhances the beach experience.
Dining at the hotel is a highlight, especially the breakfast and dinner, which offer a wide variety of delicious options. Guests appreciate the abundance of food, including amazing desserts and healthy choices. The Turkish and Italian à la carte options in addition to a diverse buffet provide a satisfying dining experience, despite occasional feedback about the main meals being less flavorful than snacks.
The cleanliness of the Calimera Hane Garden Hotel is consistently praised by guests. The rooms are meticulously cleaned daily and common areas are maintained to high standards of hygiene. While the rooms are comfortable and the cleaning service is commendable, they are sometimes noted to be small, in need of renovation and lacking some amenities. Maintenance issues such as malfunctioning appliances and inadequate closet space have also been mentioned.
The hotel's staff are celebrated for their exceptional friendliness, politeness and cooperative nature, particularly the attentive waiters and diligent cleaning crew. Although there are some language barriers with a notable focus on German-speaking guests, the staff's proactive and courteous demeanor significantly enhances the overall guest experience.
Families find the hotel particularly appealing due to its array of children's activities, including a splash park, playground and kids club, which keeps young visitors entertained. The animation team is highly appreciated for engaging the children, making it a family-friendly destination.
The outdoor pools, while generally pleasant, can be crowded with limited availability of loungers and the water is sometimes cold. The indoor pool offers a good alternative, especially on rainy days, although it also suffers from cold water and closes relatively early.
Overall, Calimera Hane Garden Hotel stands out for its excellent location, diverse and high-quality dining options, commendable cleanliness, friendly staff and family-friendly amenities, despite minor concerns about room maintenance and pool facilities.
