Porto Kaza is located in a quiet and peaceful environment a short walk away from the center of Sitia. The hotel is perfectly located, offering a nice view on the port. While it may be a bit far from the beach and town, the 15-minute walk is manageable. However, the walk up the stairs can be a bit tedious for anyone with limited mobility. The hotel is also not that easy to reach by car due to steep hills and narrow streets, but this is a small inconvenience compared to the fantastic experience. Despite its location outside of the city center, Porto Kaza is an excellent base for exploring the east of Crete, including Vai, Itanos, Zakros, Agios Nikolaos, Mochlos and the Ritchi and Death Gorges. The rooms are large and offer breathtaking views of the sea and town. The hotel staff is friendly and the pool is a nice touch. Overall, Porto Kaza is a well-placed and peaceful retreat offering a great Greek experience.
