The pool area at Slaley Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort received mixed reviews from guests. Some enjoyed the lovely size pool, while others found it too crowded, grotty with broken tiles and smelled of stagnant water in places. The jacuzzi was out of service and some guests had to share the spa pool with a children's swimming class. The pool had a maximum capacity of 65 and it was challenging to get in after 3 pm. Some guests complained about the cold pool water, especially during the winter season and the rust on bars around the pool and jacuzzi that were taped up with white duct tape. The Wedding events can cause inconvenience to guests as the staff is busy and there is noise from other rooms. Overall, the pool and spa areas were lovely and some guests spent up to 4 hours out of 24 in the pool area.
