The rooms are consistently clean with some featuring cozy furnishings and comfortable beds. However, many guests feel the rooms are small and outdated with issues like inadequate heating, poor ventilation and noise disturbances. Similarly, the gym and pool facilities add value with positive comments on cleanliness and maintenance, although some reviews point to occasional upkeep issues and limited equipment.
The hotel's staff generally receive positive feedback for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, sporadic service inconsistencies and unprofessional behavior were noted by some guests. WiFi service is one area needing improvement with many guests experiencing unstable and weak connections.
The hotel also caters well to families, providing spacious rooms and a range of activities, despite a few comments about noise and minor disruptions. The tennis facilities stand out positively with well-maintained indoor and outdoor courts available for play.
Overall, while Fletcher Resort-Hotel Zutphen has several strengths, including its serene location, sports amenities and friendly staff, areas like room modernity, WiFi reliability and dinner consistency need attention to meet the four-star expectations fully.
