Despite some negative experiences, the Hyatt Place Minneapolis/Downtown has positive aspects that make it a good choice for those wanting to explore Minneapolis. The hotel's location received praise and some guests found their stay pleasant, despite minor issues. However, some guests did find the hotel disappointing with aging facilities, uncomfortable temperatures and sharp furniture accents. Some rooms were dirty and there were issues with signage and food and trash in the hallways. Overall, the hotel has potential but falls short of guest expectations.
