At the Viana Hotel and Spa, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, the pool area offers a mixed experience for guests. For some, the indoor pool, along with the jacuzzi and sauna, provided a delightful and relaxing retreat. The cleanliness of these amenities was frequently noted as a positive aspect, with particular praise for the hot tub being both clean and appropriately heated. However, other reviews highlight certain shortcomings. The pool was described as quite small, and the water temperature was perceived as too cool by some guests. Additionally, there were concerns about the pool area's cleanliness and maintenance, as well as the lack of privacy despite prior assurances to the contrary. Despite these drawbacks, the combination of a nice indoor pool, along with additional facilities like a jacuzzi and sauna, seems to offer a generally pleasant experience, albeit with room for improvement in certain areas.

Although a few guests were disappointed that the pool was closed during their stay or had limited hours, many enjoyed the opportunity to take a dip or relax on a sun lounger. Some guests found the pool to be a nice addition to their stay and appreciated the friendly staff who worked there. However, a few guests mentioned issues with overcrowding, limited chair availability and loud music. Additionally, some were surprised to find that there was an additional fee to use the pool with a few expressing shock at the need to pay for an amenity that was not listed on the hotel's website.
