Kaiserrast offers a highly convenient and accessible stay, especially for transit travelers with its prime location near a major freeway interchange and close proximity to Vienna. The large parking spaces and a gas station add to the practicality for those making a quick stopover. Despite being near the highway, the hotel ensures a quiet stay due to effective windows and outdoor blinds. The breakfast buffet, available from 6:00 AM, receives praise for its variety, taste and affordability with guests enjoying the wide selection and commendable service from the friendly staff. Nonetheless, some suggest extending the variety and hours, particularly for late risers. The dinner buffet, noted for its quality and value, also earns positive remarks with food remaining fresh even for late arrivals, although there are occasional comments about the food temperature and consistency. The rooms at Kaiserrast are spacious and comfortable, appreciated for their size and cleanliness, making them suitable for families and groups. However, some guests noted that the accommodations appear somewhat outdated, lacking modern amenities like air conditioning and encountering occasional maintenance issues. Cleanliness is generally upheld, although there are instances of musty odors and leftover food indicating room for improvement in housekeeping. The staff at Kaiserrast is a standout feature, consistently described as friendly, accommodating and attentive, enhancing the overall guest experience. Their effort and dedication across all interactions, from check-in to meal services, leave a lasting positive impression. Overall, Kaiserrast is a practical choice for travelers seeking convenience, comfort and exceptional hospitality, though some may find the accommodations and facilities to be more basic compared to modern standards.

The hotel is in an optimal position, situated close to a major freeway interchange and providing large parking spaces along with a gas station in front. This makes it not only easy to reach but also practical for those looking to make a quick stopover. Despite its proximity to the highway, noise is not an issue, thanks to the good windows and outdoor blinds. Kaiserrast is also reasonably close to Vienna, making it a good base for various destinations such as the Tulln Garden Fair and the southern regions of Europe. Guests repeatedly highlight the excellent transport connections, making it a reliable choice for anyone needing swift and easy access to the road network. With its strategic location and convenient facilities, Kaiserrast promises a comfortable and practical stay for all its visitors.

Breakfast

The breakfast experience at Kaiserrast has received a mix of feedback with many guests highlighting its strengths. A notable number of reviews commend the rich and varied breakfast buffet, describing it as delicious and offering something for everyone. The breakfast is frequently cited as being worth its price and the friendly staff at the buffet enhance the overall experience by working with dedication. Many guests appreciate the early start with breakfast available from 6:00 AM and the large selection that caters to various tastes. However, some guests feel the buffet could use more variety and include options like scrambled eggs and bacon or vegan dishes. There is also feedback that the breakfast selection might be reduced if arriving later, suggesting that early birds get the best experience. The operating hours, from 6:00 to 8:00 AM, are seen as limiting by some who would prefer a more extended breakfast period. Additionally, some reviews point out the lack of hot cooked dishes and service at breakfast and a few mention that the overall quality and variety have diminished compared to previous visits. Despite these areas for improvement, the breakfast at Kaiserrast generally receives positive remarks for its affordability, varied selections and the effort of the attentive staff.

Dinner

Kaiserrast offers a dinner buffet that receives mixed reviews, yet highlights several positive aspects worth noting. Guests appreciate the good quality and taste of the food, often describing it as very good or fantastic, especially considering the great price. The varied and extensive selection at the buffet is frequently mentioned, appealing to diners looking for both variety and value. Some visitors commend the restaurant for accommodating late-night arrivals, serving fresh food even after kitchen hours. However, there have been comments about the buffet being a bit cold and suggestions that the quality can be average at times. Nonetheless, many find the experience of both dinner and breakfast buffets enjoyable and recommend them for a convenient and satisfying meal during their stay.

Rooms

Kaiserrast offers a variety of accommodations that generally tend to be spacious and comfortable with large rooms often being highlighted. Many guests appreciated the cleanliness and the adequately equipped nature of the rooms. Despite the overall size and comfort, some aspects of the hotel appear somewhat outdated and a few visitors noted issues such as broken wall lamps, a lack of air conditioning and basic instead of luxurious furnishings. The rooms have been described as basic and convenient, but still quite comfortable for the average traveler. For families or larger groups, some rooms come with multiple single beds. Complaints included cleanliness concerns when inspected closely, unpleasant smells and occasional issues such as water running into rooms and a mosquito infestation preventing window use. Additionally, certain rooms lack amenities like trouser hangers and proper wardrobes. Overall, the hotel’s location near the highway and the basic yet comfortable nature of the rooms make it a practical choice for travelers seeking convenience and space. However, those looking for more modern accommodations and luxurious facilities might be somewhat disappointed by the older fixtures and lack of certain amenities.

Cleanliness

Kaiserrast hotel receives mixed feedback related to its cleanliness standards. On a positive note, many guests commend the hotel for its general cleanliness, describing it as very clean and highlighting the clean, spacious rooms. Several remarks emphasize the hassle-free and neat atmosphere that the hotel maintains, specifically noting the well-kept condition of the rooms. However, some reviews reveal issues that detract from these positive aspects. Musty odors in the rooms and smudges in the elevators are mentioned multiple times, indicating inconsistencies in housekeeping. Additionally, complaints about leftover food from previous tenants and occasional dirty bathrooms suggest that a deeper level of attention to detail is needed. Despite the majority of reviews praising the overall cleanliness, these recurring issues highlight areas where the hotel could enhance its services for a more consistently pleasant guest experience.

Staff

Kaiserrast is highly praised for its exceptional hospitality. Guests consistently describe the staff as very friendly and accommodating across all areas of the hotel. The warm reception extends to every interaction with particular mentions of the personnel at check-in, breakfast buffet and reception. There's a special note of appreciation for an older lady at the breakfast buffet, who embodies the spirit of the hotel's attentive service. The staff's ability to communicate in English enhances the overall experience for international visitors. Their attentiveness is evident in various instances, such as welcoming late arrivals warmly and going out of their way to prepare meals even after the kitchen has closed. Guests have noted that the team works with heart and soul, ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, the consistent and heartfelt friendliness of the Kaiserrast staff leaves a lasting impression on its guests.
