The Anne Shirley Motel & Cottages offers a pool that captures a spectrum of guest experiences. Many appreciate the pool as a notable feature, often praising its cleanliness and convenience, with towels provided for guest use. The addition of a pool and spa is frequently highlighted as a pleasant amenity, and some guests are satisfied with the facilities overall, enjoying the atmosphere and nearby amenities such as picnic areas and grills.
However, the pool has faced its share of issues. Advertised as heated, several guests have found it uncomfortably cold. Maintenance and cleanliness have been points of contention, with reports of a pool closure during trips and observations of an unclean and deteriorating pool area. Guests also face limitations with pool hours, open only between 10:30 AM and 8:30 PM. Additionally, the hot tub frequently appears to be non-operational and similarly lacks warmth. These inconsistencies have been disappointing for those looking forward to poolside relaxation as part of their stay. Despite its potential, the swimming experience at Anne Shirley Motel & Cottages is a mixed bag, impacted by both positive remarks and significant areas needing improvement.
