The owners, Jan & Vivianne Bruijn, and their enthusiastic team will ensure you of an unforgettable and highly comfortable stay. The lodge has 6 elegant and comfortably styled rooms with quality beds made up with pure cotton linen. The rooms are situated in a beautiful large, lush, tropical garden. Each room has their own private patio for you to enjoy some quiet time, surrounded by fruit trees that attracts all sorts of African birds. There is a large secluded swimming pool with a sun deck, located in the back of the stunning garden.
In the evening, enjoy a fine dinner in one of Swellendam’s quality restaurants nearby! In the morning, your breakfast is served on the patio of the manor house of the Lodge overlooking the garden, or, in Winter, your breakfast is served inside the characteristic manor house by the fire place. The homemade compotes and marmalade are one of a kind and a must-try!
The lodge and its rooms breath a relaxing and warm atmosphere and is designed to make you feel most comfortable. The owners and their team are dedicated to make sure you are well taken care of during your stay at Swellendam Country Lodge.
