Best Western Plus The Tudor Box Hill, nestled in the heart of Box Hill, combines convenience and comfort, making it a suitable choice for both leisure and business travelers. Its prime location within walking distance of Box Hill Central and proximity to public transport ensures easy access to Melbourne's city center and local attractions. Guests appreciate the tranquil, green surroundings that provide a serene contrast to the bustling metropolitan area. The strategic location facilitates access to nearby hospitals, cafes, restaurants and other amenities, enhancing the overall guest experience.
Breakfast at the hotel receives favorable comments for its quality and punctual service, though some guests note the need for clearer communication regarding breakfast arrangements and inclusions. The on-site dining experiences, particularly dinner, earn praise for tasty and reasonably priced meals, though the limited menu and occasional closures due to external factors like COVID-19 have posed challenges for some visitors.
The rooms are frequently highlighted for their spaciousness, comfort and modern amenities with features like well-equipped kitchens and ample storage making them ideal for extended stays. Positive remarks include good value for money, seamless check-in processes and thoughtful touches such as electric blankets. However, occasional maintenance issues and inconsistent cleanliness standards are noted, suggesting a need for more rigorous housekeeping protocols.
Cleanliness feedback is mixed; while many guests find the property clean with a homely ambiance, recurring issues such as dirty carpets, mold and overall worn-out facilities indicate areas for improvement. The staff receives generally positive reviews for their friendly, helpful and accommodating nature, contributing significantly to a pleasant stay despite some isolated incidents of unprofessional behavior.
The complimentary Wi-Fi service receives varied responses, working well for many guests but proving inconsistent and outdated for others. The on-site gym is appreciated for its functionality, though some guests point out the need for newer equipment and better maintenance. The indoor pool and spa are popular features, though temperature inconsistencies and occasional non-functional spa equipment are notable drawbacks.
Lastly, the beds mostly garner positive feedback for their comfort with many guests finding them exceptionally cozy. However, a few guests mention issues such as overly soft mattresses and outdated bedding, which underline the need for occasional updates to maintain the comfort standard.
Overall, Best Western Plus The Tudor Box Hill provides a comfortable and convenient stay with numerous positive aspects that cater to a wide range of guest needs, though improvements in maintenance and clarity of services could further enhance the experience.

Summarized by AI
The parking experience at Comfort Apartments Box Hill, formerly known as City Edge Box Hill Apartment Hotel, receives a mix of positive and practical feedback from guests. Secure and convenient parking is highlighted as a strong point, providing a sense of safety in an area where on-site parking proves valuable. Although the parking comes with a fee, ranging from 7 to 15 AUD per day, many visitors find the reasonable price worth the convenience and security it offers. The ability for limitless in-and-out access is another appealing feature. However, some guests mention the additional cost for parking was not always made clear during booking, and there's feedback on the awkwardness of the car park's layout. Despite this, its presence adds an element of comfort for those traveling by car in Box Hill.
