Mrs. Anderson's Lodging in Leavenworth is highly praised for its prime central location, making it an ideal base for exploring the town. The proximity to local attractions, shops and restaurants allows guests to conveniently enjoy the vibrant downtown area while still maintaining a quiet ambiance during the evening. Parking is a significant convenience with dedicated, reserved spots adding to the hassle-free experience.
Though the hotel does not offer breakfast, its location next to an excellent breakfast spot and close to other dining options compensates for this. The rooms, often described as charming and cozy, are clean and well-decorated with a quaint, homey feel. Most guests appreciate the cleanliness and comfort, though some have noted inconsistencies such as dusty fans or occasional maintenance issues. Rooms vary in size with some being quite small but adequate for couples or smaller parties.
The staff receives commendation for their friendliness and responsiveness, particularly through digital communication. However, the absence of on-site staff during check-in and throughout the stay is a noted downside for those valuing direct interactions. The property's self-service and contactless check-in process can be convenient but lacks a personal touch.
Wi-Fi services at Mrs. Anderson's Lodging have mixed reviews with some guests experiencing strong connections while others face slow or non-working signals. Television services also face challenges with some channels not functioning properly.
Families find the lodging particularly accommodating with family-friendly rooms and amenities. The hotel's dog-friendly policy is appreciated, offering spacious pet-friendly rooms and a welcoming environment for pets. However, some minor issues with cleanliness related to pets were reported.
The beds receive mixed feedback with many guests finding them comfortable and conducive to a good night's sleep while others criticize their size, noise and need for replacements. Accessibility efforts are evident, though there are some limitations, such as a limited number of power outlets and the absence of desks and chairs in the rooms.
For those seeking a romantic getaway, Mrs. Anderson's Lodging provides a charming and intimate setting. The rooms' cozy ambiance, efficient heating systems and meticulous decor contribute to a pleasant romantic experience.
In summary, Mrs. Anderson's Lodging offers a delightful blend of historic charm and modern comfort, making it an excellent choice for families, couples and pet owners looking to immerse themselves in Leavenworth's vibrancy. Improvements in Wi-Fi strength, bed quality and on-site staff presence could enhance the guest experience further.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Leavenworth offers overall decent value for money with passable accommodations. While some guests found the hotel pretty but expensive, the exceptional service provided by the great staff made up for it. Room quality varied from pleasant to underwhelming with some families finding the room size a bit tight but still acceptable. Despite one guest finding the stay fun but costly, the hotel provided a quiet experience. Some guests were disappointed and won't return, while others wished they had stayed for longer. Though there were suggestions for improvements such as a new interior designer and better sheets, the stay was generally okay and good.
