Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Welcome Hotel Residenzschloss Bamberg is a highly recommended hotel for those looking for a historical stay in the heart of Bamberg. The hotel's location is ideal, just a short walk away from the city center and surrounded by the calming atmosphere of the river. Guests rave about the central location with some describing it as 'unsurpassable' and 'perfect.' The hotel boasts a 'grandiose ambiance' while maintaining its historical charm and guests note that the building is a beautiful old structure with plenty of character. The breakfast is described as impressive and extensive with healthy options like fruits, muesli and vegetables. The staff is friendly, courteous and efficient, willing to go the extra mile to make guests' stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel offers secure parking facilities with a private underground garage available for a fee. The beds are extremely comfortable and offer great sleep quality. While some reviewers found the buffet lacking, the cleanliness and room size were up to par for a four-star hotel. Most guests found their stay agreeable and would even consider returning. Prices match the expected four-star standard, but some were disappointed with the value for money. Despite this, the hotel's historic ambiance and city location make it a recommendation for those looking for a city break.
