Location
Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa is a fantastic location for those looking to tour North Kerry or simply relax away from the centre of town. Guests can enjoy a lovely walk on the grounds of the hotel and appreciate the stunning surroundings. The views from the restaurant are amazing and complimentary bikes are available for use to nearby Ballyseedy Woods. While the hotel is located outside of Tralee, everything else was excellent besides. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and luxurious with lovely Voya products in the spacious bathrooms. Overall, the hotel is a nice base for touring and the beautiful settings around the hotel provide guests with a lovely scenic experience.

Breakfast
Guests of Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa rave about the delicious breakfast options available. The food is freshly prepared and cooked to perfection every time, impressing guests with its taste and variety. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are available and are clearly marked on the menu. Some guests found the breakfast room a bit crowded, but the beautiful location with a view of the well-maintained gardens more than made up for it. The staff are friendly and accommodating, making everything easy and enjoyable for guests. Although some felt the vegetarian options weren't great, overall the breakfast had more than guests could ask for with a great selection of food to choose from. From the superb bacon to the wonderful eggs, guests can savor every bite of their breakfast.

Dinner
The dinner at Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa is definitely worth raving about. Guests consistently describe the food as fresh, well-prepared and delicious. The restaurant 58 in particular is praised for its fantastic, 5-star food that is reasonably priced. The service is also superb and the staff are all lovely. The Brassiere restaurant is also highly recommended with guests noting that the food there is amazing and divine. However, the bar food doesn't quite meet the high standard set by the rest of the hotel. While lunch and dinner are consistently tasty, some guests found the fish at dinner to be disappointing. Overall, the dinner at Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa is a great choice for those looking for good food and quality service during their stay.

Rooms
The Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa boasts an excellent selection of comfortable and cosy rooms with many guests commenting on the spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated facilities. The beds are consistently highlighted as being extremely comfortable with many reviewers saying they had the best night's sleep they've ever had. Some rooms are quite big and superior rooms are particularly comfortable. However, some guests did note that the rooms could be quite dated and some bathrooms could do with updating. Despite this, the decor was generally seen as a standout feature of the hotel with reviewers raving about the modern yet characterful design. Some guests did have issues with stained or chipped paint in their rooms, but in general, the cleanliness was found to be excellent. Additionally, many guests praised the spaciousness of the rooms and the quality of the bathroom facilities, which included large white fluffy towels and high-quality wash items. Ultimately, many reviewers agreed that the rooms completely exceeded their expectations and were a highlight of their stay at this fantastic hotel.

Beds
The Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa offers beautiful bedrooms featuring comfortable beds that many guests raved about. Reviews consistently use descriptors like "very comfortable," "comfy bed," and "really comfy beds." However, some guests noted that two single beds were pushed together when they had paid for a king-sized bed. Additionally, some reviewers wished for a firmer pillow option, but overall, guests seemed to enjoy the wonderfully soft and comfortable beds. Despite a foundation stain on one set of bed sheets, the majority of guests praised the hotel's cozy sleeping accommodations, especially those lucky enough to snag an upgraded room.

Cleanliness
Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa is a must-visit for travelers who appreciate cleanliness above all else. From spotlessly clean rooms with modern decor to beautifully appointed premises, this hotel ensures that it maintains an exceptionally clean standard of accommodation throughout. Although some guests may find the en-suite a bit dated, the bathroom is spacious and very clean nonetheless. Negative reviews include some issues such as discolouration on the bath surround and a bed sheet with foundation stain on the inside. However, the majority of guests seem to be very impressed with the superb Covid safety precautions in place. Travelers will be delighted to find that the facilities are clean as a whistle, rooms are perfectly clean and the hotel is in immaculate condition.

Staff
The staff at Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa are truly exceptional with many guests commenting on their friendly and helpful nature. From the moment you arrive, you'll feel right at home thanks to the warm welcome from the reception staff, particularly Noel who is a true gentleman. The restaurant staff, including Kevin, Matthew and Jake, are regularly praised for their fantastic service with guests noting that nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The spa staff, including massage therapist Shauna, are also highly commended. Every member of staff is well-trained, efficient and genuine, going above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The only small quibbles some guests had were with the reception staff, who were described as only OK and poor in a couple of instances. Overall, however, the staff at Ballygarry House are outstanding and a credit to the hotel.

Spa
Looking for a relaxing escape? Look no further than Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa. Guests rave about the amazing spa facilities, including a beautiful room with complementary steam room and sauna. Treatments at the spa are top-notch with many praising their sessions as brilliant and fantastic. Staff, such as Geraldine, go above and beyond to give guests a warm welcome and wonderful experience. The views from the spa are breathtaking, making it a great place to unwind and relax. The hotel also offers a great gym with access to the spa for those who want to break a sweat before getting pampered. When it comes to food, guests love the combination of spa and dining packages, such as the September Honey Special which includes a treatment and lunch. However, COVID-19 has caused some limitations on spa access and guests should note that the spa closes early. Despite these minor drawbacks, guests mainly agree that the spa is all 100% fabulous and well worth the trip.

Luxury
If you're looking for a truly luxurious stay in Ireland, look no further than Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa. This gem of a hotel is simply breathtaking with outstanding service and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a special stay. The hotel is a lovely mix of modern and character-filled with none of the sterile interiors you might find elsewhere. It's no wonder that some guests have said that it's probably the best hotel they've ever stayed in.

The hotel definitely has a fancy feel to it, but it's also incredibly cosy and welcoming. The luxury of the rooms is simply unmatched and it's hard not to feel pampered and relaxed while staying here. The spa is also a fabulous addition, making it easy to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

But it's not just the physical aspects of the hotel that make it so special. The staff truly go above and beyond, making sure your every need is taken care of. And the food is simply incredible - we couldn't get enough of it!

All in all, Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa is an outstanding place to stay. It may officially be a 4* hotel, but it deserves every bit of its 5* rating. If you're looking for all-round perfection, this is definitely the place to stay.
