Hotel Ristorante Miravalle receives frequent accolades for its picturesque and strategic location, perched on a hill offering breathtaking views of the valley and Orobie mountains. Visitors appreciate its proximity to the historic center of Teglio and Tirano, making it a convenient base for various activities like hiking and exploring nearby attractions such as Prato Valentino. The setting is tranquil yet accessible with free parking adding to its practical appeal.
The hotel’s breakfast is highly regarded for its variety and quality. Guests enjoy a well-stocked, abundant buffet featuring a mix of sweet and savory items including fresh cold cuts, homemade cakes and gluten-free options. The breakfast experience is further enhanced by the warm and helpful staff.
Dinner at the hotel's restaurant also receives high marks. Guests commend the well-prepared traditional Valtellinese dishes and praise specialties like pizzoccheri. The excellent value for money and occasional musical entertainment contribute to an enjoyable dining experience, although a few diners note occasional issues such as overcooked vegetables and long service times.
Rooms at Hotel Ristorante Miravalle are consistently described as clean, comfortable and functional. Recent renovations have updated many rooms, featuring modern amenities and spacious bathrooms with some rooms offering stunning views and large terraces. However, some drawbacks include small room sizes, outdated furniture in a few areas and poor soundproofing.
Cleanliness is one of the hotel's standout features. Guests repeatedly highlight the impeccable maintenance of both rooms and common areas, contributing to a hygienic and pleasant stay. The staff at Hotel Ristorante Miravalle also receive widespread praise for their friendliness, attentiveness and professionalism with many guests feeling truly welcomed and well-cared for during their stay.
Bed comfort at the hotel receives mixed reviews. While many guests find the beds clean and comfortable, some report issues with mattresses being too soft or sagging, which affects sleep quality.
Overall, Hotel Ristorante Miravalle offers a scenic, comfortable and welcoming environment with quality dining options and exceptional service, making it a memorable choice for visitors in the Sondrio area.
