The Purist Villas & Spa Ubud is the perfect place to escape the busy streets of Ubud while still being close to the center. The location is peaceful, relaxing and surrounded by nature, set in a beautiful jungle. Although a little isolated and not walkable, the hotel offers a free shuttle to the main town a couple of times a day and it's only a 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk into the center of Ubud. Guests appreciated the tranquil location, which was a great escape from the crowds of Ubud city center. The hotel is conveniently located near small shops and taxi rides to restaurants are very cheap. The property is beautifully built with a limited footprint that enhances the peaceful atmosphere. If you're looking for a calm place to relax while still being close to the hustle and bustle of Ubud, The Purist Villas & Spa Ubud is an excellent choice.

However, there were some complaints about musty smells, old linen and outdated bedding in some rooms. Some guests also felt unsafe in open living rooms.
