The hotel is conveniently located near Seiano train station with easy access to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the train station, pier and town center. Although the hotel is not in Sorrento, it provides peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Some guests were put off by the location, as it requires planning and a cab or shuttle reservation to get to the port. Nonetheless, the views from the hotel are breathtaking with a sensational view of the Gulf of Naples and Vesuvius. The hotel is perfect for those who want to experience the Amalfi coast and Naples area with a beautiful walk down to the beach and back up. Overall, Grand Hotel Angiolieri is a beautiful hotel with an excellent and dreamy location, although an automobile would be indispensable for conveniently exploring the surroundings.
