Santorini Villas is located in the quaint town of Vourvoulos, away from the very touristic areas of Santorini, making it a great location to experience the less touristy side of the island. While it is a bit far from the main Caldera locations, it is still conveniently located near Fira, Oia and Imerovigli. The hotel is situated in a calm area, away from the noise and crowd, making it the perfect location for a relaxing vacation. The hotel is close to two fantastic taverns and a small village with a minimarket and restaurants. The position of the property is ideal to visit all parts of the island with easy access to public transportation. However, guests recommend renting a car to fully enjoy the location. Some guests recommend the steep walk up to Imerovigli for a beautiful view, while others suggest that the incline may be challenging. Overall, Santorini Villas offer a wonderful location with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere.

Despite some small issues with missing hooks and safety lights that can't be turned off at night, the overall experience is one of gorgeous villas and stunning cave-style rooms. However, please note that not all rooms are created equal - some guests have reported an average or even poor experience with neglected or broken amenities and canalisations that need improvement. As long as you choose wisely and don't mind a bit of humidity in some rooms, Santorini Villas is a truly lovely accommodation option.

Whether it's answering questions, providing thoughtful recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try or cooking/reheating breakfast, the staff is always communicative, attentive and friendly. They made us feel like home and treated us like friends. The positive atmosphere is contagious and even other guests were super friendly. Special mentions for Efi, who can give you lots of suggestions about places to visit and good restaurants and Theodora, who made our stay unforgettable and is now a great friend to us. The hotel itself is also beautiful with great design, lovely accommodations and wonderful support from the staff, truly beyond expectation. Overall, if you're looking for a place where you can experience the true meaning of Greek hospitality, Santorini Villas is the perfect place.
