Crossroads by Chef & Brewer Collection offers a mixed experience for travelers seeking a budget-friendly stay. The hotel is situated in a pleasant area, making it an ideal choice for visiting nearby family and friends. Many guests appreciate the excellent value for money, particularly when it comes to the high-quality food at the adjacent pub. The comfort of a large, comfortable bed and the availability of free WiFi also contribute positively to the overall stay.
The staff are noted for their friendliness and warm service, enhancing the guest experience. While the hotel’s basic but comfortable rooms are satisfactory for many, it’s evident that the decor is dated and could benefit from a refurbishment. The hotel’s facilities are generally functional, despite their worn appearance.
For those considering Crossroads, it's worth noting that the accommodations might feel more suitable for a quick, no-frills stay rather than a luxurious escape. However, for travelers focused on value for money, good food, and a convenient location, the hotel serves well as a budget accommodation option. Despite some concerns about the outdated appearance, guests frequently find the overall experience to align with their expectations given the competitive pricing.
