Grand Hotel Euler Basel offers a charming and classic style, reflecting its historic roots. The hotel provides good value for money with promising amenities and excellent service, even accommodating late-night arrivals with ease. Visitors appreciate the comfortable accommodations, particularly appealing to travelers seeking a classic historical experience.
However, there are some areas that could use improvement to fully meet the four-star expectations. Some guests noticed the old carpets in the rooms and a more modern makeover could enhance the overall experience. While the hotel does provide a decent breakfast, its selection might feel somewhat limited for a four-star establishment and guests are expected to pay extra for it. Additionally, the hotel lacks ramps, which may be inconvenient for some.
Nevertheless, Grand Hotel Euler Basel still meets the standards of a four-star hotel with its helpful staff and historic charm, making it a solid choice for visitors to the city.

Mercure Bale Mulhouse Aeroport offers a clean and modern environment that aligns closely with the expectations of a four-star hotel. Guests frequently note its high comfort level and luxury facilities, making it a suitable stop for travelers seeking quality services. The hotel excels with its modern amenities and impeccable cleanliness, which are well-matched to its four-star rating. The pricing is also considered reasonable for the quality provided, although some guests find it a bit on the higher side for a four-star facility.
Despite these positives, some areas fall short of the four-star standard. The breakfast quality has been pointed out as less than expected, not matching the level seen in some three-star hotels in Switzerland. Additionally, the absence of certain amenities commonly found in other four-star hotels has been noted, such as toiletries. While the comfort of the rooms and overall services meet the four-star criteria, the quality of the restaurant doesn't entirely align with the hotel's rating.
Overall, the Mercure Bale Mulhouse Aeroport is praised for being an excellent four-star hotel with a good quality-to-price ratio but has room for improvement in certain aspects to fully meet the high expectations of a four-star establishment.
