The pool at Golfview Lodge is a notable feature that enhances the picturesque surroundings, which include beautifully maintained gardens and a charming gazebo. Despite some guests being unable to use it due to cooler weather or temporary closures, the pool is generally regarded as lovely and refreshing. It complements other amenities, such as a tennis court and golf course view, offering a well-rounded experience for visitors. While some mention of it being chilly suggests the need for solar heating, the pool, alongside other facilities, contributes positively to the overall experience at the lodge. Guests appreciate the combination of leisure activities available, although occasional maintenance challenges, like keeping bird droppings out, are acknowledged.

The Gibraltar Bowral's swimming facility is a mixed bag according to guest reviews, but overall, it offers a positive experience for most visitors. The indoor heated pool, often described as awesome and great, stands out as a highlight. Its perfect temperature makes it particularly appealing, especially for families with children who seem to love it. Mornings spent in the pool are enjoyed by many guests and the clean pool area adds to the positive experiences.
However, some guests found the pool to be too small and occasionally overcrowded, which can detract from the overall enjoyment. Additionally, the absence of a spa pool was a minor disappointment for a few and there were mentions of the plunge pool being unpopular.
Still, for those in need of a refreshing dip or a fun activity for kids, the indoor heated pool at The Gibraltar Bowral delivers a generally satisfying experience, despite a few drawbacks such as intermittent closures and temperature issues.
