Guests had positive experiences dealing with staff members such as Rukaiya at the front office, the chef who made them exactly what they wanted and the helpful staff at the helpdesk. The guest relationship officer Hamed/Hamid also provided excellent customer service. However, a few negative reviews mentioned that some staff seemed disinterested or laid back when it came to assisting guests and management refused a request to have henna done in a room's balcony area. Overall, the staff at Hotel Verde Zanzibar - Azam Luxury Resort and Spa were professional, friendly and attentive to guests' needs.

Guests can enjoy a stunning view from the top-floor rooms, which also feature a jacuzzi on the balcony. The pools, restaurant and service are all amazing. Although one guest complained about the food, most guests highly recommend this hotel.
