La Puerta Rota enjoys a highly praised central location that makes exploring the city's key attractions easy and convenient. Positioned close to the bus station, central square, Historic Center, restaurants, cafes and shops, it offers guests a comfortable and advantageous base. Proximity to landmarks such as Independence Park and the Salt Cathedral further boosts its appeal. Guests appreciate the availability of parking and the excellent location relative to the price.
The hotel rooms are spacious, well-maintained and equipped with modern amenities like TVs with Netflix, though cable TV and television signals could be an issue. Highlights include bright and clean rooms, occasional hot tubs and overall cleanliness. However, some maintenance issues like broken shower doors, drainage problems and noise from the street affect the experience. Service inconsistencies and some missing basic amenities like towels and toilet paper are additional challenges.
Cleanliness is an area where La Puerta Rota excels with guests frequently complimenting the tidiness and upkeep of the hotel and its facilities, including the jacuzzi. The rooms are notably clean and organized, providing a comfortable environment, though there are rare instances of minor cleanliness issues.
The staff at La Puerta Rota are highly regarded for their friendliness and attentiveness. Guests often highlight the excellent service, detailing the staff’s readiness to assist and their accommodating nature. The team’s detail-oriented approach and commitment to 24-hour service significantly contribute to a pleasant stay. Despite some occasional lapses in responsiveness, the overall sentiment about the staff is overwhelmingly positive.
Opinions on bed comfort vary with some guests finding the beds restful, while others report issues with older, smaller beds and uncomfortable mattresses and sheets. This inconsistency in bedding comfort can influence the overall sleep quality for guests.
In summary, La Puerta Rota's location, cleanliness and commendable staff service make it a desirable choice for travelers. However, it faces areas for improvement in room maintenance, service consistency and bed comfort to enhance the guest experience further.
