The pool and sea at Aquila Elounda Village Resort, Suites & Spa are wonderful according to guest reviews. While some found the pool tiny, there are many pools of different sizes throughout the property including a private pool in some rooms and excellent swimming opportunities. However, some guests found the swimming pools to be very cold and the stairs to access them or the beach dangerous. Every sun bed has a towel on it by 8am, but guests may have to wait a little longer to be serviced for drinks and cutlery. The beach is small and some guests found it dirty, but there are areas for families to relax in with wooden platforms. The private infinity pool in some rooms with a stunning view, was outstanding. However, some guests complained about the limited all-inclusive drinks and the lack of sun protection on the breakfast terrace and the bar terrace. There were many pools, but some were not well maintained and the hotel charged an extra fee for some of the beds. Overall, there were varying opinions about the number of sun loungers, the steepness of the stairs to access certain areas and the cleanliness of certain tables.
