Milo Collection Hotel, located in the heart of Puebla’s historic center, offers an exceptional locale for those wishing to explore the vibrant city life and its iconic landmarks. Guests appreciate the hotel's proximity to the main square, Zócalo, Calle de los Sapos and the Amparo Museum, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot.
Breakfast at the hotel has received mixed reviews. While some guests enjoyed the in-room continental breakfast and the option to dine on a terrace with views of the main churches, others found the morning meal offerings limited and basic. Despite this, the evening meals at the restaurant have been positively noted and the friendly staff and pleasant presentation of food items are redeeming aspects.
The rooms at Milo Collection Hotel garner considerable praise for their beauty, spaciousness and modern design. Guests are impressed by the meticulous decor and unique details in each room. With comfortable beds, well-furnished interiors and a 5-star ambiance, the rooms provide a restful retreat. Cleanliness is a standout feature with visitors frequently describing both the rooms and public spaces as spotless, reinforcing the hotel's high standards of hygiene.
The hotel staff is repeatedly commended for their exceptional service, friendliness and professionalism. Key team members are often mentioned for their remarkable service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and well cared for. The attentive staff contributes significantly to the warm and inviting atmosphere, making guests' stays memorable and comfortable.
However, parking at Milo Collection Hotel receives mixed feedback. The lack of on-site private parking forces guests to rely on a nearby lot, which is inconvenient and costly. Additionally, the parking meters and early closing times of the nearby lot add to the complexity of parking arrangements. Despite these issues, a guard overseeing cars near the hotel provides some level of security.
The beds at the hotel are generally highly praised for their comfort with clean bed linen and beautiful designs contributing to a positive sleeping experience. Some minor concerns about bed sizes and occasional odor issues are noted, but these are rare.
Overall, Milo Collection Hotel offers an excellent blend of location, room quality, cleanliness and superb service, making it a highly recommended choice for travelers seeking comfort and style in Puebla.

Hotel Bacantes, located in the historic center of Puebla, offers visitors a prime location that is both convenient and culturally immersive. The hotel is situated within a well-preserved colonial building that exudes rustic charm, allowing guests to explore key attractions like the Zócalo, the Amparo Museum and the cathedral just a few blocks away. The ease of access to vibrant markets, cozy restaurants and notable museums further enhances the rich cultural experience.
Despite the lack of a traditional breakfast service due to COVID-19 restrictions, Hotel Bacantes ensures guests can start their day conveniently with in-room breakfast delivery options, highly praised for their taste and practicality. The unique setup provides a hassle-free start to the day, although some guests missed having a conventional breakfast area.
The rooms are noted for their simplicity, cleanliness and charming rustic decor, aligned with the colonial aesthetic of the hotel. Many guests found the rooms to be spacious, comfortable and well-decorated. The sound isolation is particularly effective, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling city streets. However, some rooms lack ventilation and natural light, leading to occasional issues with damp smells and temperature control. Despite these minor drawbacks, the beds are generally comfortable and the charming courtyards and terraces add to the overall appeal.
The hotel's cleanliness standards are consistently high with well-maintained and tidy facilities contributing to a hygienic environment. A few isolated cleanliness issues were reported, but these are exceptions rather than the norm.
Hotel Bacantes stands out for its exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. The 24-hour front desk availability ensures constant support with the night receptionists receiving particular praise. While there were occasional mentions of rigidity among some staff members, the majority of reviews highlight the staff's helpfulness, friendly attitudes and the manager’s attention to detail.
The WiFi experience at the hotel is mixed with some guests praising its strength and speed while others encountered connectivity issues. The inconsistency suggests room for improvement in this area.
For parking, Hotel Bacantes offers several nearby options, which, although not on-site, are affordably priced and conveniently located. The availability of guarded and spacious parking areas is a plus, even if it involves a short walk.
Families traveling with children will find Hotel Bacantes to be a suitable choice, thanks to its family-friendly atmosphere and accommodating facilities. Children enjoyed their stay, adding to the pleasant family experience overall.
In conclusion, Hotel Bacantes provides a comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and conveniently located option for travelers. With a strong focus on cleanliness, friendly service and the rustic charm of its colonial setting, it offers a great base for exploring Puebla. Some areas, like room ventilation, WiFi consistency and minor cleanliness issues, could benefit from improvements, but overall, the hotel delivers a pleasant and memorable stay for its guests.
