Chula Vista Resort is a family-friendly hotel with two water parks - one indoor and one outdoor - that offer several exciting options for kids and adults alike. The indoor pool is a good size for all kids and the lazy river, wave pool and pool water slide are some of the highlights of the outdoor water park. Although some guests mentioned that the outdoor water park needs a bigger pool and better slides, most enjoyed the water park and adjacent pools. There were little to no waiting in lines at both the indoor and outdoor parks and water park passes were included each day of guests' stays. The Agua super calientita, or hot water, was a particular favorite among guests. Housekeeping does not come during the stay, but the cabanas offer a nice place for adults to relax and catch a game. Some issues were reported, such as the fact that the jacuzzi was down, the pool area has pieces breaking off and some rooms are outdated. However, overall, guests found plenty to do just at the resort, including several restaurants and clean water parks with warm waters.
