Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Kyona gold has garnered numerous positive reviews, primarily highlighting its prime location, spacious accommodations, commendable cleanliness and the efforts of a courteous staff. The hotel is notably situated in the northern part of Jeddah, offering a serene and peaceful environment away from city noise with easy access to local amenities and tourist attractions. Its proximity to the beach, airport and sports city further adds to its appeal for both relaxation and convenience.
The accommodations, encompassing villas and apartments, are highly praised for their spaciousness and elegant design, making them ideal for families. Each villa features en-suite bathrooms for every bedroom, along with large living spaces and multiple floors. Amenities such as smart screens in living rooms and a choice of pillow types cater to varied guest preferences. However, issues with cleanliness, maintenance and occasional pest problems indicate a need for improved housekeeping and upkeep.
Kyona Obhur's emphasis on cleanliness extends to public areas, reception facilities and swimming pools, contributing to the overall pleasant experience. The staff is frequently commended for being friendly, helpful and professional with notable mentions of employees like Abdulrahman, Ibrahim, Mr. Rajab, Ahoud and Mr. Abdulaziz for their exemplary service. Nonetheless, some inconsistencies in staff behavior and hospitality do arise, emphasizing the need for more uniform service quality.
Despite general satisfaction with the hotel’s cleanliness, occasional lapses in room and facility maintenance upon arrival suggest areas for enhancement. Similarly, the pool area, while appreciated for its features, requires better maintenance and water cleanliness to meet guest expectations. The irregular water temperature and cleanliness issues in the pools have been commonly reported.
Additionally, the wifi service at Kyona Obhur has room for improvement. The connection is frequently described as slow and unstable, affecting the guests' ability to work or stay connected during their visit.
In summary, Kyona gold stands out for its strategic location, spacious and beautifully designed accommodations and commendable service from key staff members. While there are areas needing attention—particularly in housekeeping, maintenance, wifi reliability and pool cleanliness—the overall experience remains positive for many guests.
