Unbeaten service and the amenities of a fine Asheville hotel can be found within the beautiful charm of this hotel.
In the 1900s, Nurse O'Connell managed this humble three story hotel. Although she was a woman of charisma and kindness, she was particularly known for her bright red hair. For that, she was dubbed the "princess". She went on to care for the hotel for several years. A few years later, Doctor Karn von Ruck used this property as a place to cure the sick. He wondered what he would name its roof. Something hospitable, homely and humble. So he settled with Nurse O'Connell's name and title, Princess Anne.
This romantic hotel's guests can relax in front of the stone fireplace during the winter months or on the patios during the warmer months; a beautiful garden with a water fountain adds to the romantic atmosphere.
