Sama Hotel is recognized for its commendable service, with attentive and accommodating staff who ensure guests feel welcome throughout their stay. The hotel's cleanliness has been highlighted positively, with visitors appreciating the tidy and well-maintained rooms. Despite this, the hotel faces some areas needing improvement. The rooms are noted to be narrow, with bathrooms described as tight, which can limit overall comfort. Additionally, some guests have reported issues with the functionality of in-room amenities like televisions and lighting options that could benefit from enhancements in ambiance.
The hotel's cleanliness maintenance is challenged by its bustling location, with reports of cockroaches and unpleasant odors detracting from the overall experience. Items within the hotel appear worn out, particularly the linens, which have been a point of discomfort for some guests. Furthermore, the air conditioning has been described as weak, adding to potential discomfort. While Sama Hotel offers a clean and service-oriented experience, attention to space optimization and updates to facilities would enhance guest satisfaction. Prospective guests may wish to consider these aspects when choosing their accommodations.

Summary of reviews

Sharjah Aparthotel formerly Royal Tulip enjoys a strategic location in the city center of Sharjah, close to Mega Mall and numerous essential services such as restaurants, markets, mosques and public transportation. Guests appreciate the convenience and accessibility this provides for both shopping and exploring the city’s attractions.
The breakfast experience at the hotel has been met with mixed reviews. While some guests find it reasonably good and varied, others note a lack of variety and quality with service starting late at 9 AM, which might not suit early risers.
The dinner service has its own set of pros and cons. Guests commend the delicious spaghetti and the reasonable prices of the buffet during Ramadan. However, there are concerns about delays in service and insufficient kitchen items in the hotel apartments for self-cooking.
Rooms at the Sharjah Royal Tulip Hotel Apartments are generally appreciated for their spaciousness and comfortable beds. However, issues with cleanliness, outdated furniture and maintenance frequently arise. Guests mention recurring problems such as insects, cockroaches, unpleasant odors and malfunctioning amenities, which significantly detract from the overall room experience.
Cleanliness across the hotel appears to need major improvement. While some guests find certain areas clean and the ambiance beautiful, many others are dissatisfied with the general state of the rooms, lounges and bathrooms, highlighting a recurring presence of insects and unclean washroom facilities.
The staff at the reception are frequently praised for their friendliness, politeness and helpfulness with particular mention of individuals like Mr. Mustafa, Mr. Nabin and Mr. Rashad. However, inconsistency in professionalism and attitude among other staff members suggest that the level of service varies.
Internet connectivity is another area with mixed reviews. Some guests find the wifi good and commend the staff for resolving issues promptly, but many others report weak, slow or non-functional wifi, particularly in certain areas of the hotel.
The children’s pool occasionally faces water disinfection issues with mentions of unclean conditions and closures. Parking is a notable concern for many guests due to the limited and often crowded spaces, though some appreciate the availability of free parking.
Beds within the hotel receive mixed feedback with some guests finding them comfortable while others complain about issues such as age, noise and cleanliness, including reports of bed bugs and dirty sheets.
Guests agree that the hotel falls short of its advertised four-star rating. The worn-out condition of amenities contributes to the perception that it does not meet the standards typically associated with Tulip Hotels.
In terms of accessibility and luxury, the hotel’s central location proves to be advantageous. However, despite some positive traits like good facilities and service, the general consensus indicates that the hotel does not fully live up to expectations of luxury due to its aged appearance and outdated furniture.
Overall, Sharjah Royal Tulip Hotel Apartments provides a mix of convenience and decent service but suffers from significant shortfalls in cleanliness, maintenance and some aspects of hospitality, making it less appealing to those seeking a consistently high-standard experience.
