Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Airport Hotel is a popular destination due to its closely situated location near Abha Airport, offering guests a serene escape from city life with picturesque surroundings and well-maintained landscaping. Visitors frequently commend the tranquil atmosphere and scenic views from the balconies, making it an ideal spot both for relaxation and convenience.
The rooms are spacious with excellent layouts and private terraces that offer beautiful vistas, contributing to a comfortable and cozy stay. Guests appreciate the cleanliness and efforts by housekeeping to maintain tidy environments, alongside the visually appealing design of both indoor and outdoor spaces.
The hotel staff earn high praise for their friendliness and helpfulness with particular mentions of the exceptional service provided by employees like Osama Al-Almai, Hassan Al-Ammar and Sultan Assiri. Notably, the efficient and warm service enhances the overall guest experience, though there are occasional reports of slow service at the reception.
The amenities, such as the swimming pool, are a highlight for many, featuring a large pool and a private option that guests enjoy for their beautiful views and spacious area suitable for activities like barbecues.
However, the hotel has several areas needing improvement. The wifi service is notably weak and unreliable, creating challenges for guests who require stable internet connectivity. Some rooms suffer from dated furnishings and a lack of proper insulation between rooms, affecting privacy. Additionally, improvements are necessary for bathroom facilities and varied maintenance issues like insufficient electrical outlets and faulty room locking mechanisms.
Reviews on cleanliness are mixed; while many praise the hotel for its high standards, others cite inconsistent maintenance with reports of dusty furniture and inadequate cleaning services.
The beds receive mixed reviews as well. Some guests find them comfortable, but there are complaints about uncomfortable mattresses, old furniture and issues with bedding arrangements.
In summary, Airport Hotel offers a beautiful and tranquil setting with spacious rooms and excellent staff service, making it a favored choice for many. However, there are areas requiring attention, particularly regarding room furnishings, cleanliness consistency and wifi reliability.
