In Gold Hotel & Spa offers a range of experiences with its pool amenities. Guests frequently praise the pool itself, highlighting its easy accessibility and commendable management. On several occasions, visitors described the pool as fantastic, perfect and the best part of the hotel. It is also well-liked for its divine water jet and for providing good conditions, including an exceptional view.
However, the pool facilities do come with a few drawbacks. Many guests mentioned that the pool, located in an annex outside the main hotel building, requires external access which some found unpleasant, particularly due to the exposure to weather conditions. Additionally, the pool area is reported to have high chlorine levels and tends to get stuffy because of water evaporation, leading to discomfort.
Another common concern involves the temperature of the pool water, which many found uncomfortably cold, despite the description of it sometimes being heated. Maintenance and hygiene also appeared to be inconsistent with a few reviews noting dirt in the water, poor upkeep and the need for repairs at times.
The pool's small size was a repetitive point of contention among guests. There were comments on the limited access to the pool area with some finding their time restricted to only one hour or having difficulty booking a slot. The pool area also opens relatively late in the morning, which could be inconvenient for early risers.
Despite these issues, the pool area is a highlight for many who visit In Gold Hotel & Spa, particularly those who appreciate its quality and the overall relaxation it offers. The perfect temperature at times and the indoor setup provide a satisfactory experience for numerous guests, especially when accompanied by the excellent service of the staff.

Quinta do Louredo Hotel boasts a stunning outdoor pool set against a backdrop of beautiful natural surroundings, offering guests a serene and peaceful spot to relax. The pool area is generously spacious, providing ample room for guests to unwind and enjoy the tranquility. The outdoor pool is large and sunny, making it an ideal place for soaking up the sun and connecting with nature, although it's worth noting that the water is unheated. Visitors appreciate the serene atmosphere, but it's best enjoyed when not too crowded. While the pool's somewhat distant location from the hotel adds to its seclusion in nature, accessing it can be a bit challenging due to the presence of some difficult stairs. Despite these minor inconveniences, the pool area remains a lovely feature of this hotel, perfect for those seeking a quiet retreat.
