Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Ruve Jeddah Hotel boasts a prime location in the heart of Jeddah, easily accessible to major attractions like Jeddah Park, IKEA, malls, shops and restaurants. Situated on Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Street (Al-Tahlia), the hotel offers convenient access to downtown Jeddah and the airport, making it a popular choice for both short and long stays. Guests commend the hotel's calm ambiance, cleanliness, spacious rooms, ease of access and parking facilities, which collectively contribute to a highly satisfying stay.
The hotel provides comfortable, spacious rooms that guests often describe as clean and well-furnished, creating a pleasant environment enhanced by excellent cooling. Notably, the staff receives high praise for their friendliness, helpfulness and exceptional customer service, frequently highlighted by name for their efforts in maintaining high standards of care. However, there are occasional mentions of the furniture being old and in need of renovation, inconsistent cleanliness and minor maintenance issues.
Breakfast at Ruve Jeddah Hotel has mixed reviews. While many guests find the quality satisfactory, some consider it excellent and deserving of high praise. Nonetheless, others criticize the repetitive and meager offerings with issues like the absence of main courses and fruits, inadequate quantities and a lack of variety, especially during extended stays. Dinner options, including room service and the Chinese restaurant Sheng Hua, are generally considered below par with guests noting limited variety, high prices and slow service.
Cleanliness is a significant aspect where the hotel receives both positive feedback and areas for improvement. While many guests appreciate the overall tidiness and comfort, there are recurring concerns about the old and stained carpets, inconsistent room cleaning and the need for better maintenance in some areas.
WiFi service is praised for its speed and reliability, though some guests report poor signal strength and inconsistent connectivity. The hotel's gym, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, receives similar mixed feedback with some noting the need for better maintenance and cleanliness. The rooftop pool offers stunning views and a dedicated children's area but suffers from cleanliness and maintenance issues, alongside some broken amenities.
Parking is generally convenient with private and shaded underground spaces. Ground-level parking is spacious and well-received, but the basement parking can be tight and challenging with difficult maneuvering for low cars and cumbersome access processes.
Families find the hotel particularly appealing, thanks to its convenient location, calm environment and recreational options like swimming pools. The hotel successfully caters to family needs, making it a popular choice for group stays.
Beds at the hotel receive both positive and negative comments. While many guests find them comfortable and appropriately sized, frequent criticisms highlight uncomfortable mattresses, worn-out pillows and bed linens and occasional cleanliness issues.
Overall, while Ruve Jeddah Hotel has its merits, particularly in terms of location, room size and the friendliness of the staff, several areas, such as dining, cleanliness and maintenance, need improvement to consistently meet the expectations of a four-star establishment.

The Novotel Jeddah Tahlia features an onsite swimming pool located on the top floor, which offers the unique amenity of a projector screen for TV watching, adding a touch of entertainment to the poolside experience. Guests also appreciate the availability of a clean pool and gym facilities. However, several reviews point out areas needing improvement. There have been multiple mentions of the outdoor pool sometimes being dirty or unclean and encounters with bird excrement due to pigeon infestations. There have been instances where the pool was closed for cleaning or maintenance and some guests noted the lack of towels. The children's pool was also found to be unsuitable for young ones. Overall, while the pool's features are well-thought-out, consistent upkeep and additional amenities could enhance the experience for all visitors.
