HDB Al Khobar Resort & Spa offers chalets and villas with private swimming pools that appear to be a major attraction for guests seeking a secluded experience. However, these private pools have a mixed reception. While some guests appreciate the concept, noting features such as good pool conditions and the overall allure of a villa with its own pool, there are significant downsides.
Many reviews highlight a lack of true privacy as a major concern. The private pools are often described as only semi-private, being surrounded by sheer fabric that does not prevent onlookers from seeing through. This lack of seclusion is further exacerbated by the pools being uncovered and exposed to the street, making it easy for passersby to look in. Additionally, some guests pointed out the absence of pool lighting and sunbeds, adding to the inconvenience.
Practical issues have also been noted, such as the presence of sand in the pool and occasional ant infestations, which can detract from the overall experience. There are concerns about the number of bathrooms available in relation to the chalet size with some larger chalets having only one bathroom. Despite these issues, guests do recognize the effort put into having individual pools for each chalet.
In summary, while the private pools at HDB Al Khobar Resort & Spa offer a notable draw for guests seeking an exclusive and relaxing stay, the lack of complete privacy and some maintenance issues may undermine the experience for many visitors.

Sea Club Resort offers a unique and delightful experience with its private pools, highly rated by guests for enhancing their stay. Each chalet comes with its own private pool, providing a perfect blend of exclusivity and comfort. The pools offer stunning sea views, adding a picturesque element to the ambiance. Several guests noted the cleanliness and high privacy of these pools, which contributes to a relaxing and serene atmosphere. Some villas are spacious, featuring three rooms, a living room, two bathrooms and a pool overlooking the sea, ideal for families looking for a more private setting.
The chalets are lauded for their high standards of cleanliness and suitability for family relaxation with a range of accommodations from one-bedroom chalets to larger villas. An interesting feature highlighted is the heated pool, which adds to the charm, especially in winter. Despite one mention of poor privacy due to neighboring pools being closely situated, the general feedback is overwhelmingly positive. Enhancing the overall appeal is the resort's excellent location, where outdoor pools offer breathtaking sea vistas and maintain a high level of privacy, ensuring a tranquil escape.
