The serene location serves as an ideal launch point for exploring nearby attractions like Noto and Syracuse, while its enchanting tropical garden provides a peaceful retreat for those seeking relaxation and natural beauty.
The hotel impresses with its exceptional breakfast, consistently praised for its abundant offerings of homemade Sicilian treats and fresh local products. Guests enjoy a variety of high-quality options, complemented by good coffee, all served in the calm atmosphere of the garden. While dinner is not available year-round, the dining experience is celebrated for its well-prepared dishes and pleasant atmosphere when offered, making it a memorable aspect of the stay.
Accommodations, while clean and comfortable, are noted to be small and somewhat outdated, suggesting room for improvement. However, guests appreciate the air-conditioned rooms and lovely bathrooms, with some enjoying spacious layouts and garden patios. The immaculate cleanliness of the property, maintained by the attentive staff, adds to the overall appeal, with the lush garden being a standout feature.
The exceptional staff is a defining feature of Hotel Villamare, known for their friendliness and professionalism, creating a welcoming environment. Notably, the director Stefania and the breakfast team receive praise for their warmth and attentiveness, enhancing the personal touch of the stay. The multilingual staff offers an inclusive experience for international visitors, ensuring a hospitable environment.
Guests enjoy the lovely pool area, surrounded by palm trees and a charming garden. Though small, the heated pool with evening lights provides a relaxing environment, despite occasional overcrowding. The stunning nearby beach, just a short walk from the hotel, offers a beautiful setting for relaxation, though visitors are reminded of possible crowding in early September.
Convenient parking options are appreciated, providing free private spaces on-site, although the limited capacity may require some guests to park off-site.
