Gasthof Schatzl, centrally located in the heart of Grieskirchen, provides guests with easy access to the town's charming village ambiance, local shopping, and dining options. Abundant free parking, spacious rooms, and flexible breakfast timings enhance the convenience for those exploring this vibrant Austrian town.

Although some find room for improvement in its presentation and variety, breakfast includes a basic buffet and personalized service that caters to guests seeking straightforward dining.
The rooms at Gasthof Schatzl are widely praised for their cleanliness and spaciousness, offering a quiet and comfortable retreat. Despite an outdated exterior, the interior maintains a cozy ambiance, with features like tables and seating areas enhancing guest comfort. Although there was a mention of room temperature issues, overall feedback highlights a pleasant stay.
Cleanliness at the inn receives mixed reviews; many guests describe the environment as clean and quiet, particularly noting the spotless conditions of the rooms. However, some mention areas of concern, such as visible dust, cobwebs, and mold in bathrooms, as well as unsatisfactory bedding and towels.
The staff at Gasthof Schatzl are generally praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing significantly to a positive experience. The team, particularly the attentive innkeeper, is noted for providing excellent local tips and adjusting services with kindness. While most interactions with the staff are positive, some inconsistencies in guest reception have been mentioned.
