Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Linde-Sinohaus generally receives positive reviews from guests, particularly highlighting its advantageous location, comfortable rooms, quality dining experiences, cleanliness and accommodating staff. Positioned near the Swiss border and major travel routes, it serves as a convenient base for travelers heading to destinations like Lake Constance, Bregenz, Switzerland or Italy. Its accessibility is complemented by nearby amenities such as restaurants and a SPAR supermarket, although traffic noise from the busy main road can be notable.
Guests largely praise the breakfast offerings, which include a fresh and adequate buffet that appeals to a variety of tastes. The breakfast is described as well-prepared and sufficient, making for a solid start to the day despite its limited selection and occasional repetitiveness. The evening dining experience is equally commendable with the on-site Chinese restaurant receiving accolades for its extensive and delicious all-you-can-eat buffet, friendly service and reasonable prices.
The hotel's rooms are clean, spacious and modern with many guests noting recent renovations that added to their comfort. However, rooms facing the main street can be noisy and lack air conditioning. Nonetheless, the overall cleanliness and modernity of most rooms are well-received with additional amenities like kitchenettes and balconies enhancing the stay for many visitors.
Cleanliness is a strong point at Hotel Linde-Sinohaus, consistently praised by guests who find the rooms and bathrooms well-maintained and tidy. While some isolated incidents of insufficient housekeeping were mentioned, the general consensus is positive regarding cleanliness.
The staff at Hotel Linde-Sinohaus are a standout feature, frequently commended for their friendliness, attentiveness and genuine hospitality, which greatly contribute to the pleasant experience of staying at the hotel. Family travelers in particular find the hotel’s family-friendly atmosphere welcoming and suitable for short vacations with excellent value for money.
Parking is another well-regarded amenity with ample, convenient options including covered parking, garage parking and free spaces directly in front of the hotel, making it particularly appreciated by car and motorcycle travelers.
However, the WiFi service has been noted as a significant drawback with many guests experiencing unstable and weak connections, particularly in rooms and during evening hours. While some improvement in connectivity is found in the restaurant area, overall, the WiFi does not consistently meet the needs of guests requiring reliable internet access.
Lastly, the beds at Hotel Linde-Sinohaus receive favorable reviews for their comfort, though some guests felt the pillows were too high and the duvets too thin. Overall, the beds contribute to a restful night's sleep for most visitors.
In summary, Hotel Linde-Sinohaus provides a well-connected, clean and comfortable stay with excellent dining options and friendly service, making it an appealing choice for both family and individual travelers despite minor drawbacks such as traffic noise and inconsistent WiFi.
